Motivational Monday #1

This is the time of year where it's very easy to feel a bit blah.  New Year's Resolutions are fading, the weather is cold and miserable, and it seems as though spring, and refreshed happiness with it, will never arrive.

I've been loving Pinterest for more than just fitness this winter. I love typography, inspirational (albeit a bit cheesy) quotes plastered onto a lovely bright picture, usually in watercolor. I've dug up a few of my favorites to spread some motivation t get through the next few months and to generally spread some cheer! :)

Travel Throwback...Mind the Gap

I have wanted to go to London for as long as I can remember. Being an avid Harry Potter fan, I couldn't wait to see the iconic city, with it's vivid phone booths, bustling streets, and quaint townhouses. I had a master plan that I was going to live in London when I was older.

Snowed In

With the recent battering New England has gotten with snowstorm after snowstorm, schools have been closed for days on end as the snow shut down roads and public transport. I personally have been affected with serious cabin fever.

Danish Delights

A few Christmas' ago, I received an Abelskiver maker. Abelskivers are Danish filled "pancakes", which can be filled with anything from jam to whipped cream to Nutella (my personal favorite). They can be made savory or sweet, and the possibilities are quite literally endless!

Travel Throwback...Quebec City, Canada

Two summers ago, my family headed north to the beautiful city of Quebec, in the Quebec province of Canada for a few days. I had been to Montreal before, but never Quebec City, and I was oh so pleasantly surprised.
